This 60-minute online session will give you an overview on behavior change and the resources available to help support your quit journey.

Be part of an online community and build a network that can help support you at whichever stage you’re in. Mondays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. (PT).

Wellness Coaching by Phone

You’re more likely to succeed with quitting when you’re prepared to deal with challenges. We’re here to work with you to build your plan of action. To make an appointment with a wellness coach or get medication to quit, call 1-866-862-4295, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (PT). Available for Kaiser Permanente members only.

SmokeFree KP text program

Kaiser Permanente members can join SmokeFree KP, a texting program designed to give you daily prompts to help support you on your journey to quit.

To join:

  1. Sign in to your kp.org account.
  2. Choose “Medical Record.”
  3. Click on “Personal action plan.”
  4. Scroll to the “Tobacco use” section under the “Information” tab and click on the “Enroll” button.

Quit vaping text program

Ready to ditch vaping but not sure where to start? We have resources for teens and young adults!

This is Quitting from the Truth Initiative is a quit vaping texting program available at no cost for Kaiser Permanente members 13 to 24 years old. You’ll get daily texts and support from peers to help you quit. To enroll in this confidential 60-day program, text “VAPEFREEKP” to 88709 whenever you’re ready.

If you’re a parent of a young person who vapes, text “QUIT” to 202-899-7550 to get text messages designed specifically for parents of vapers.
