Unfortunately, revisional bariatric surgery carries a much higher rate of complications, and to date, there are no proven revisional bariatric operations that lead to additional weight loss. Newer techniques like single anastomosis duodeno-ileal bypass are being studied for weight regain after sleeve, but this is not offered outside of research protocols. There are no revisional surgeries offered for regain after gastric bypass.
